Topographic Survey

A topographic survey is made to secure data from which may be made a topographic map indicating the shape of the terrain and the location of natural and human-made objects.

Cadastral Survey

Cadastral Surveying is that branch of surveying which is concerned with the survey and demarcation of land for the purpose of defining parcels of land for registration in a land registry.

UAV Aerial Survey

One of the most common, versatile, and economical forms of remote sensing is aerial photography. Historically most aerial photography has been film based. In recent years, however, digital photography has become increasingly widely used. Aerial photography gives a bird’s eye view of large areas, enabling us to see earth surface features in their spatial location. CSW now will use the UAV aerial photos technique. In this technique CSW can get a resolution of 1cm with 100m flying height, and can build also the DTM directly with very accurate results.

GIS

Geographic information systems are computer based systems that can deal with virtually any type of information about features that can be referenced by geographical location. These systems are capable of handling both location data and attribute data about such features. Much of the power of a GIS comes from the database management system that is designed to store and manipulate these attribute data. CSW can apply all survey works not just in CAD format but in GIS format with complete data base for decision makers.

Remote Sensing

Is the science and art of obtaining information about an object, area, or phenomenon through the analysis of data acquired by a device that is not in contact with the object. The subject of remote sensing from space is rapidly changing one, with numerous countries. CSW uses the different satellite images (Spot, QB, WV2) with different resolution for many applications such as City planning, Classification of different objects, Environment, Digital mapping and for GIS applications.

Underground Utility Detection

Surveying of underground utilities such as buried pipes could be done using the RD8000 device and other Radar penetrating waves. Buried pipes and Surveying utilizes the principles of control, land, geophysics, and topographic surveying to control, locate and map underground and surface pipes.

Bathymetric Survey

A bathymetric survey maps the depths and shapes of the seabed using advanced sonar and GPS technology. These surveys create detailed underwater maps essential for navigation safety, marine construction, environmental monitoring, and resource exploration. Sonar waves from survey vessels or autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) measure seabed depths, creating precise three-dimensional models. This data supports scientific research, helps monitor marine ecosystems, and aids in the discovery and management of underwater resources. Bathymetric surveys are crucial for exploring and managing our underwater world, enhancing safety, and supporting sustainable marine resource use.

Geodetic Survey

A geodetic survey is a precise method of mapping and measuring the Earth’s shape, orientation, and gravity field using advanced technology like GPS, total stations, and satellite imagery. These surveys are essential for various applications, including creating accurate maps for navigation and development, planning infrastructure such as roads and bridges, establishing legal property boundaries, studying tectonic movements and sea level changes, and supporting satellite missions. By providing highly accurate data, geodetic surveys are crucial for engineering, scientific research, and environmental management. Their versatility and global relevance make them indispensable for both local and international projects.

Strata Survey

How to define the boundary of Strata Unit? Distance of outer to outer that are not common wall to another unit or otherwise the median of wall is to be consider as boundary common to each other. Unless otherwise is specifically required the boundaries of strata unit should follow features such as the inner surfaces, median plane, or outer surface walls, floors and ceilings.

3D Laser Scanning

As-built surveys using 3D laser scanning technology, provide users with detailed point clouds which enable 3D modeling for diverse tasks including building reconstruction, plant layout and enhanced data presentation with augmented reality.

Measured Building Survey

A building survey is created from measurements taken with a hand held laser distance measuring device and a tablet computer. An accurate as-built survey provides an important tool to manage the building as it is under construction and after it has been completed.

Building Condition Survey

A Condition Survey provides an assessment of physical property conditions, and to identify building deficiencies.
